Oh the sweet perfection of true love, celebrated with family and friends on the beach in November!

Matt + Jess celebrated their wedding in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, in the middle of November and I had the pleasure of escaping the Alberta cold not only to celebrate with them but to photograph their amazing day!

this was a tremendously romantic and beautifully simple wedding – set in their home in breathtaking Squamish BC, James and Jill-Marie shared their wedding day with an intimate group of about 50 friends and family… while the party got started with drinks and snacks we snuck away to Alice Lake for a little hike in the sun speckled forest…

Banff Community Greenhouse

(Shaking things up: I have expanded my professional reach and am now the Executive Director of the Banff Volunteer Centre. I work to develop the community spirit in creative and collaborative ways in banff – I am loving developing community and using my photography to help enhance that!! Check out one of the projects I have had the pleasure to be involved in, I even have a garden plot where I am working with a team of great friends to hopefully grow enough food to feed us! — anyway enjoy life and don’t forget to get involved in YOUR community and volunteer! xoxo )

The Banff Community Greenhouse

The Banff Greenhouse Gardening Society [BGGS] has had an exciting last two months in May & June, as over a year of planning became reality when the Banff Community Greenhouse was built at the end of May! It’s been about a month and things are already growing! Drop by and check it out in the parking lot near the Banff Recreation Grounds.

The Ribbon Cutting + Grand Opening

On Monday, June 27th the BGGS was thrilled to host the official ribbon cutting ceremony for the greenhouse. On hand to cut the ribbon (or rather strand of flowers) were Town of Banff Mayor Karen Sorensen and MLA Janis Tarchuck . Many other key funders and volunteers of the project were on site, including the following title funders; The Banff Community Foundation, Bow Valley Credit Union, Leader Service & Renovations Ltd and the Alpine Medial Clinic. Pictured here is the group of funders present and also BGGS team and gardeners involved in the greenhouse this year.

in january i had the great pleasure of spending a week in jamaica with becca + jamie, their family and friends to celebrate their wedding (those photos to follow very soon!).

becca was down with the idea of a trash-the-dress photo session, which is super exciting! we agreed to meet on our second last morning during sunrise… it was an awesome morning!

I took my car there once already and am going back again – I finally found MY mechanic in Toronto!

LADIES!! and GUYS!! if you’ve got wheels, bring them in to Jessica at Ms Lube!!
